Father's Day in the Strawberry Patch

We celebrated Father's Day with a trip to the farm to go strawberry picking.  For months, Reece has been telling us "in June, we go strawberry picking."  Last year, Reece loved this activity but didn't manage to get any strawberries into the box.  After eating a significant amount today, we were able to coerce him into a game of dump-truck - collecting his little box full of strawberries and then dumping them into daddy's box.  Progress!  Nell was a darling, sleeping in the carrier and not eating any strawberries, and mom successfully hunted for the best berries with about 10.5lbs of baby on her chest.  We also got to check out all of the awesome tractors and feed a llama!  Dad is now hard at work making magic with the strawberries - jam is underway and a pie and shortcake will be soon.  Reece and mommy know that they are spoiled and super lucky to have not only an awesome father and husband, but a live-in chef!
