Fall Holidays

Again, in an attempt to catch up - Reece's 2nd Halloween and Thanksgiving!

We were inspired to make him Bacchus for Halloween this year by his love of eating grapes by the bunch...plus the fact that he had no opinions about what he wanted to be.  A great bonus to this plan was that the costume was so quick and easy to make that if he refused to wear it, Mom would not have put in hours of time only to be disappointed.
Daddy got him dressed and posing!
The toddler party circuit was wild and crazy.  Reece had four different Halloween events to attend in as many days.  Here are some highlights:
In the Halloween parade with Mom at the Providence Athanaeum.

Eating pumpkin cookies with his BFF Lizzy, an adorable baby chick.

The whole crew at our Mom's Group party.  Reece is snacking, of course.
Although his party schedule was packed, some surprise October snow got in the way of outdoor events at the zoo and a local park.  We had fun anyway!

I attempted my first "sensory bin" - a favorite Tot School item that I've seen all over the blogosphere.  I am purely a copycat at this point, but Reece didn't care.  He had a blast with his Halloween bin (although I have no action photos to prove it).

Reece loved his 2nd Thanksgiving, now that he is an expert eater of all kinds of food.  Plus, he got to spend some time with his fantastic grandparents and aunts and uncles - many of whom we got in the same room for a very special Thanksgiving meal!
